A White Paper - Reading Room

             “The photobook has a timeless quality attached to it. Art galleries may shut down, websites may be forgotten after a point of time, but images printed in photo books will always have their own aura, which gets refined with age.”

Over the years I have collected more than two hundred Art and Photography books. It's a personal collection of books. They range from books by Indian artists to international, masters and new voices. 

I always had a firm belief that sharing of knowledge and resources leads not only to personal fulfillment but also makes you an accomplice to the artist’s growth. With this belief, I am making my Reading Room accessible to everyone. My idea is to create a space where you can come, select and read a book. Through this initiative, I wish to start a conversation around photography and photobooks.  This process will open up new ways of seeing and building a community of like-minded people.
